Entry 9

The introductory paragraph article focuses on making a bold entrance into a topic.  Also expressing how important a strong thesis statement is.  The beginning the paper should have a good attention getter maybe incorporating humor or a quotation from a source.  Quotations should be throughout the introduction making it strong by backing up the first parts of the paper.  A main thing I thought was important was to get the reader curious and hook them in order to keep them reading.

This source had much different outline than the previous source.  But it went over interesting facts such as; the importance of how the introduction is literally introducing your topic.  It also indicated how the intro should introduce the structure and methodology of the essay.  I found this interesting because the site put things very simply.  Finally it went over the importance of a thesis statement as well.

I found these articles to be informative.  They were presented in different ways and I like seeing the different way things were worded and communicated.  It had similar information but formatted it differently which I liked because it made it a little easy to understand and break down the introduction process.
